It is the highest point of Paris with its 130 meters of height, you can reach it thanks to an original funicular, stairs or winding streets. Other famous places are the Place du Tertre which reminds us of the old village of Montmartre as well as the small streets nearby with evocative names (rue des Saules, Sainte Rustique, ...) and the Moulin de la Galette, a remnant of the old mills of the Butte.

A real village in the heart of Paris, Montmartre is a district full of history, witness of the past of the capital. At the top of its tortuous and narrow streets, carefully perched on the heights of the Butte Montmartre, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart overhangs this atypical district which so much pleases the Parisians and the tourists of passage.
